Hi, This is Koichiro SHIBUYA.
I have not tell yet, I’m 8th STEPs leader.
Last month, the ceremony was held to commend the best students of each departments and 7 new members determined joining STEPs.
I renewed a list of members.


Representing new members, NANRI who is 4th grader and HADA who is 3rd grader told their hopes, so I introduce.

Hello, I am Kanta Nanri and will belong to STEPs since this year.
I was attracted to being able to overseas training and international exchange in STEPs, so I decided to become a member. Each member’s goal is varied, But I hope we can become new self by improving their English and communication skills.

Hello, I’m Yuki Hada. I’m third-grade student. My department is Electrical and Electronic Engineering. I’ve hardly had opportunities to communicate in English and never done an international exchange. I knew about STEPs activities. Then, I decided to join STEPs because I want to expand my viewpoint and get a chance to deepen the human interaction through communicating in English. I’ll come into contact with many people and culture and improve myself with pleasure among the activities.

Also, I received a message from previous leader, TSUJI.

Last year STEPs, I acted as a representative. To be honest, I do not know whether I had leadership well, but I was able to finish the STEPs seventh period safely. Although a short time of once a week that STEPs was held, I thanks to the members who worked hard and made STEPs a lively organization. This year, I will be doing activities in the position of M1. I hope I can support what I can do. I still do not have English ability enough, so I try to improve my speaking and listening skills. And I would like to do fun activities.

① Satisfying English Time
② Learning about Japan and Saga
③ Announcing the commendation of the best student

About①
This year, there are many participant so we practice English separated into groups consist about 4 persons in order to each member can talk more.

About②
It was determined that we will go to Taiwan this year as overseas training. We will learn about Japan and Saga not to mention Taiwan, and we will go overseas training being a sightseeing ambassador of Japan and Saga.

About③
There are few persons who know the commendation of the best student and about STEPs. If we announce it to them, I think an ambition of all students will be increased, as a result, a scholastic ability of them will be increased also.


I declare the above mentioned items.
STEPs consists from a lot of members in this year, so we make activities cheerfully.
I feel they are peculiar, but I will make efforts to lead them as a 8th leader.

こんにちは、澁谷です。
申し遅れましたが、第8期のリーダーを務めています。
先月、各学科から優秀学生を表彰する、学部長賞の表彰式があり、今年は新たに7人もの新メンバーが加入してくれました。メンバー一覧を更新しました。



新メンバーを代表して、4年生から南里君、3年生から波田君が抱負を語ってくれましたので紹介します。

こんにちは。今年からSTEPsの一員となりました、南里敢太です。
STEPsでは海外研修や国際交流などが出来ることに魅力を感じ、STEPsに入ることを決めました。一人ひとりの目標は様々ですが、みんな英語のスキル、コミュニケーション能力を高め、新しい自分になれたらいいなと思っています。よろしくお願いします。

こんにちは。電気電子工学科３年の波田悠暉です。
これまで英語を使ってコミュニケーションをとる機会が少なく、国際交流もしたことがありませんでした。STEPsの活動内容を聞いて自分の視野を広げたり、英語でのコミュニケーションを通して人との関わりを深めたりするきっかけをつかめたらいいなと思い、STEPsに参加することにしました。STEPsの活動を通して、様々な人や文化と触れ合い、楽しみながら自分を磨いていきたいです。

また、前リーダーの辻さんからも一言いただきました。

昨年度STEPsでは、代表として自分が主流となって活動をしてきました。正直、メンバーを上手くまとめられていたか分かりませんが、無事7期目を終えることが出来ました。週に一度という短い時間の中でも、メンバーの皆さんが尽力してSTEPsを活気溢れる組織にしてくれたおかげだと思います。今年度は、M1の立場で活動をしていくことになります。自分が出来ることはサポート出来ればと思います。英語力がまだまだ足りないので、スピーキング力とリスニング力の向上に努めつつ、楽しんで活動していきたいです。

ところで、今年は以下を目標に掲げて取り組みたいと考えています。
① English Timeの充実
② 日本や佐賀について学ぶ
③ 学部長賞の周知

① について
今年は、参加人数が多いため、English Timeでは一人ひとりがより多く喋れるように約4人ずつの班に分かれて練習します。

② について
今年の海外研修は台湾に行くことが決定しました。台湾について学ぶのはもちろん、日本や佐賀についても学び、観光大使になった気持ちで海外研修に取り組みたいと思います。

③ について
私の周りでは、学部長賞やSTEPsについて知らない人が多いです。もし、これらを知らせることが出来れば、学生全体の意識が高まり、学力の向上に繋がると考えています。


以上が、今年の活動方針です。
今年新メンバーが増え、賑やかな雰囲気の中活動できています。くせものが多いように感じますが、リーダーとして皆を束ねていけるように努力していきます。
