I am sorry for the delay in the report. This year’s leader is Yohei Inokuchi.
This year member is 7 people (fourth grader : 4 ,third grader : 2 , special member : 1).
I am glad that we can enjoy talking in the every meeting. Members of last year also participate in a meeting of the every week.
Also, the ceremony of the 50th anniversary of the department of science and engineering was held on Saturday, May 21. Then, we introduced our STEPs and reported the activity of last year.

First, I write about members of this year.

Here, I write about themes up to the present.
「Self-introduction」「Importance of Casual English」
「What do you want to do if you have a million yen?」
「Which countries do you want to go to, and what will you do there?」
「What is your hobby?」
「What kind of pet do you want to have?」

Professor Khan talked about importance of Casual English in the time of the self-introduction. Next topic was “What will you do if you have a million yen?” Then, there are persons who want to have an own car, and there is the person who wants comic books. The meeting of the last time was “What kind of pet do you want to have?” It was raised goldfish and cats, and there is the person who doesn’t want to have pets more because he have enough pets.

I feel everyone is gradually used to speaking English recently. I hope every meeting will be good!

報告が遅れてしまいました。今年度のリーダーは4年の猪口洋平が務めさせていただきます。今年度のSTEPsの活動は4年生4名，3年生2名，特別メンバー（留学生）1人で行っています。昨年のメンバーだった方々にも毎週のミーティングにご参加いただいています。毎回面白いトークができて非常に嬉しく思います。
それから5月21日（土）に理工学部創立50周年記念式典が催され、そこでSTEPsの紹介及び昨年の活動報告を行ってきました。

まずは、メンバーについてです。

この7名に加えて、昨年のメンバーの吉田先輩・黒岩先輩、及び大渡先生，カーン先生の4人の方々にもミーティングにご参加頂いています。

今年度の活動内容・活動目標については以下のように決まりました。

・英語での日常会話をスラスラとできるようになる
・自分の国と相手の国について理解する
・理系英語に慣れる（可能であれば）

ここで、これまでのミーティングのテーマについてご報告をさせて頂きます。

・「自己紹介」「カジュアルイングリッシュの大切さ」
・「100万円あったら何に使う？」
・「行ってみたい国はどこか？そこで何をしたいか？」
・「趣味は何ですか？」
・「飼ってみたいペットは何？」

自己紹介の回ではカーン先生がカジュアルイングリッシュの大切さを語って下さいました。
その次の「100万円あったら何に使う？」では、車がほしいという人や漫画がほしいという人もいました。前回の「飼ってみたいペットは何？」では、金魚・猫などが挙がり、また今ペットを飼いすぎていてもう飼わなくていいという人もいました。

ミーティングを重ねて、みんな次第に英語で話すことに慣れてきたように感じます。
今後も面白いミーティングになるように盛り上げていきたいと思います。
