The Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster and Eschatological Sense

   One year has passed after the Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster which became the rare disaster in the Japanese history.  The disaster does not end and it is still going on.  Moreover, it increases seriousness in some area.  The number of death and missing people is 19,130 as of March 2, 2012.  Furthermore, there are many people who are losing their lives during their refuge life after the great disaster on March 11, 2011.  The reasons are frequent additional earthquakes and inconvenient life of refuge.  In a special way, there are victims among old people.  Moreover, because of a long time of recovery and restoration from the disaster, some refugee had serious stress and committed suicide.  Regarding the nuclear accident in Fukushima, it is estimated to take many years, some decades, to solve the problem.  Therefore, this great disaster will surely still continue even from now on.  In addition to it, other new earthquakes have been taking place in the East Japan area.  And also, earthquake specialists in Japan warn of other big earthquakes in the near future in the area of eastern sea, eastern south sea and south sea along side of Japan Archipelago in the Pacific Ocean.  Therefore, it is not exaggeration to say that people of the whole Japan are really talking about how to prevent the natural disaster centered on big earthquakes day and night.  Now, the largest task for leaders of the country and local governments is to prevent and to decrease the natural disasters and media are taking time and spending space for such news.  The reality, however, is that the natural disasters are taking place more than preparation of human beings in size and power.  What are these phenomena in Japan telling about?  Is nature not warning us about nearness of the end of the world?  And, is it not appealing us to prepare for the suitable life to be ready to meet the end of the world?  Is it not necessary for us as earth family to prepare for the end with eschatological sense as well as to prepare for the end of individual life on this earth?

   Revelation 16:18 says, “And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.” (NKJV)  Here is prophecy that the ultra mega earthquake takes place.
